Mature
In Dauntless halls, where shadows danced,
There lived a boy, with mischief glanced.
Peter, they called him, a wicked name,
For chaos and trouble, his only aim.

With smirk so sly, and words so biting,
He mocked and taunted, pure delighting
In others' woes, a twisted game,
Except for Y/n, who saw no shame

In calling him out, her voice like steel,
"Must you be cruel? Can't you feel?"
His laughter would falter, a flicker of surprise,
In those defiant eyes.

She saw the good, buried deep inside,
The pain he hid, with arrogant pride.
He pushed her buttons, tested her might,
But her spirit burned ever so bright.

He'd trip her in hallways, with a whispered jest,
Yet catch her fall, before she hit his chest.
He'd steal her books, with a devilish grin,
But leave a note, "You dropped this, win?"

Their banter was legendary, a clash of wills,
A whirlwind of insults, and playful spills.
He'd call her "goody-two-shoes," with a roll of his eyes,
She'd retort, "At least I'm not fueled by lies."

But beneath the surface, a change began,
A softening gaze, a different plan.
He found himself drawn to her fiery grace,
Her strength and spirit, in this chaotic place.

He'd seek her out, just to hear her speak,
Her words like fire, bold and unique.
He'd watch her train, with admiration concealed,
A warrior's heart, forever revealed.

One day, amidst the training ground's fray,
He saw her stumble, fear in her way.
Without a thought, he rushed to her side,
His own safety forgotten, his heart open wide.

He fought for her, with a ferocity unknown,
Protecting her, as if she were his own.
And in that moment, their eyes truly met,
The mask he wore, forever upset.

The boy who chose evil, now saw the light,
In the eyes of the girl, who dared to fight.
And Y/n, who saw good where others saw none,
Found love blooming, beneath the Dauntless sun.

-- PROLOGUE "Let me get this straight. We have nothing in between us, except for the deal we made that day" he spoke in a monotonous tone. "I am the one carrying your name behind me; we are married. how can you say we have nothing in between us? Huh" She yelled at him, tears blurred her vision, and she spoke her heart to him. "For god's sake, this marriage was to save you! Can't you get that? I did not do it willingly, I do not love you!!" He yelled back at her, shattering her heart into pieces. "Why can't you just love me?" She spoke, as she cried the tears of hurt, and pain. Her heart thumped loudly due to the shivering sensation She felt all over her body. "I never made a commitment to you, or gave you any false hope, neither did i say that i love you. Did i?" He asked her, in a very cold tone. She looked at him through her teary eyes. It's getting difficult for her to even breathe. "It was your eyes, the damn eyes. Who gave me the false hope. They say, "Eyes speak the truth," but what about mine? Couldn't you feel the sincerity within them, expressing my deep affection for you? Why didn't you see the love shining in them? Was it too complex to understand? Couldn't you notice the warmth as they gazed at you? They search for you in every corner, If only you realized how they silently echoed the emotions I couldn't articulate. They say, "Eyes never deceive." But what about yours? They played a trick on me when they met mine, painting a facade of a world that wasn't real. They made me feel loved, Leading me into a belief that crumbled, louder than your spoken promises. Why did they betray me? Was it your eyes or you that masked the truth?" He stayed still, not moving or saying anything at her statement. --

It's as the title says, Sterek one-shots. A lot of angst, a few happy sprinkled here and there, some fluff. All the Sterek! I hope you enjoy. {Also posting on AO3, each is called the same as the names of the chapters. They're all in the series "Sterek Short Stories!"} Cover credits go to @TheFishBrain (Thank you!). Here are a few random snippets (in order): ^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^ "You left me, Derek. I loved you and you left me." His last words to me echoed around my head, like a gunshot in an empty parking lot. ^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^ Everyone saw what he wanted them to. No one saw the real him and he was beginning to hate everything he was and everything he was not. He needed someone who saw him, needed to be true to everyone just as much as he needed to be true to himself. ^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^ "Stiles, we're two separate packs, you can't be apart of both!" He was getting sick of his best friends indecision and, after a long conversation, had just exploded. ^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^ "I can't lose you, I've lost too many, you were supposed to stay, you weren't supposed to leave. Stay with me please, I-I can't, not again. Never again." ^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^ Stiles was watching him again, this had become a daily occurrence and he did not know how to deal with it. He knew Stiles' feelings for him, Stiles being Stiles had gotten bored of dancing around them and just blurted it out once after a Pack Night. ^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^ Blood coated his hands, splattered his face and dripped from his T-shirt as he stared at himself in the mirror. "How can you still love me after what I did?" ^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^ Stiles flailed, chair falling backwards as he did, creating a thump louder than the one that had originally scared him. The man by his window stood up, adjusting his clothing as he walked towards the younger boy whose eyes were blown wide, heart beating a mile a minute. Derek inhaled deeply trying to determine what it was he could smell.

(A Twist On Peter Pan) “I’ll kill you, you hear me? I’ll kill you!” My face was red as I fought against the ropes that bound me to one of the masts. “I’d like to see you try Alison, because you’ll fail. Peter has failed, and look at him now.” He gestured to Peter, who was on his knees and was getting punched and kicked repeatedly by a large group of pirates. “And why don’t we watch your precious Will.” He grabbed my chin and forced me to look at Will, who was suffering the same fate as Peter. “Oh and don’t forget about your dear little Lost Boys.” I heard a scream and looked at Aaron, who was being hit by a man three times his size. “Stop! He’s just a little boy, please. You have me, you have Will and even Peter; we’re whom you want. Just let them go, you’ve won.” I sighed as the wicked man grinned at me. “Very brave Alison, very brave indeed. Well men, she said let the boys go, so let them go!” He said and I went pale as I realized what I had done. “No! Stop!” I screamed but it was too late. I watched with tears in my eyes as a pirate picked up Aaron and set him on the plank. I started to thrash around in the ropes, and felt them loosen a little bit. Come on! “I never liked children.” Hook said absentmindedly as Aaron started to cry, and looked at me, and I smiled at him. “Think of the stars Aaron, think of the stars.” I whispered as his scream rang out through the boat, just as I broke through the ropes and attacked. She was a girl from inside the wardrobe. He was a boy from outside the wardrobe. ~~~~ "You're joking?" I scoff. "These are the Prophecy?" I pointed at the three children standing beside them. It was like an inside joke that wasn't even laughable. "Yes, sweetheart! You cannot deny the coincidence that is happening all around us." Mrs. Beaver explained. Her motherly tone brought me some reassurance. I nodded reluctantly, glancing at the three children standing awkwardly. "So much for a Prophecy." ~~~~ "Is Aslan really your father?" Lucy asked me. I smirked in amusement as she sat down beside me at the river. "Is that what everyone keeps telling you?" Lucy nodded innocently. It was adorable how her cheeks redden in embarrassment. "No," I answered, "he isn't my father by blood but I like to think of him as one." I turn to the flowing river, watching as the tiny fishes jump every now and then out of the water. "He raised me, saved me from dying. I never knew my parents. Don't know if they're looking for me or continuing on with their lives like nothing is missing." I shrugged hoping to fool anyone who thought otherwise. If I put my guard up maybe no one will notice. ~~~~ "A King is never a King without his Queen by his side." A voice said from behind me. I smiled at his attempt of trying to woe me. "Oh?" I didn't need to take a look to know that he was already next to me. His warmth radiated to me like a magnet. "So, why is everyone calling me 'King' when my Queen is out here?" Peter said. I whipped my head over at him, baffled at his confidence. He smirked making me swoon for him even more. Especially, the way the setting sun shinned against his dirty blande hair and his blue eyes glowed even brighter. ~~~~ The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe {P. Pevensie} {The Shadow Series} {Part of Across The Multiverse Series} {Book 1} All of the credit of the books belongs to C.W. Lewis and the movies belong to Disney. I only own Natasha Rebecca Barnes and her plot.

"You're unbearable!" He kicks her with utter contempt. "Please tell me where I'm wrong, causing you discomfort was not my intention," she said crying, causing him to hit her against the ground again. "Do you think you can live with good intentions? Didn't you have all the time you wanted to change and learn? You still dare to ask for more!" He yells at her with hatred, he blamed her for being the one will cause a woman to be beaten; He didn't want to be that kind of man. However, what he lived with her caused him to bring out what he hated the most about himself from within. -Forget it love- said a woman who was next to her- it's not worth it- this dog was supposed to be her friend, she was supposed to support her just like she did; however he managed so that he and she hated each other and thus be able to steal it. The woman on the floor does not know how much she was framed and harmed by her naivety, nor did she know that this was the beginning of her misfortunes. Because of that woman she did not stop suffering, wherever she went she suffered verbal or physical abuse and everything was orchestrated by this woman; she didn't know until she was about to faint. "Why?" She asked this unarmed woman without knowing why she hated him so much. She never did anything to hurt him. She just laughed viciously without answering him, she didn't have to waste her time with an insect; leaving La to die imprisoned in the house where she was kidnapped. "Answer me!" She got up from her bed screaming "Eh? This looks like my room; Did I reincarnate myself in the past?" She ran to the bathroom just to see that her assumption was correct. She thanked the heavens for this second chance by promising that she wouldn't be fooled a second time.

A reflection. Do you like yours, love yours or hate yours? There's many people in this world who dislike theirs, not because of the physicality that they see in a mirror, but because they know what's lurking behind the eyes that stare. So much can be seen in yourself from your own pair of eyes, things that others don't seem to see. Do you know why that is? That's because no one knows you better than you know yourself. A pair of eyes could seem so kind, warm and innocent to the world, but only yourself could know the true darkness behind them. There's one person in this world who knows exactly what I'm talking about. He knows the infuriating, angering feeling of the painful suffering he experiences when his own eyes meet his reflection's. Deadly, severe, menacing: is what he sees. Everyone who looks into them simply see a bright pair of ocean eyes. Blue. That's all they see. But only himself knows he's drowning in the tidal waves of their deep ocean. And no one cares enough to notice, to help, or to save. Until her. She used to think fire was more murderous than ice. Little did she know, that would all change at first glance. She saw the eyes, she noticed their blue, she stared for a second too long, and now she knows that there's no going back. He'll claim her. ~If I take a step away from him, he takes a step closer to me. If I run, he'll find his way back.~ ~I'm trying my goddamned hardest to not act on the ache I'm feeling to place my lips on hers, just to have a little taste, because I don't want to appear as some sex-driven teenage boy who just wants to claim her body. Because I don't. I want to claim her heart.~ *Mature content: Strong language, aggressive behaviour, sexual content etc.* Note: Don't skip past the prologue. A bit of the dialogue or description in the first half of the book may seem slightly immature; I'll have to edit that when I get the chance. Started: 31/08/18 Completed: 02/04/19
