She is a broken person. When she was 10 she was mentally scarred and damaged. She survived 8 years fighting depression and suicidal tendencies. Her teenage years and living with a foster family damaged her further more. Starting university, she thought about new beginning but her closed personality did not help to find friends or forget the demons from the past. When she thought about giving up, he showed up. He was a smiley and very positive person, contrary to her gloomy and dark self. He became a sunshine of her life. His positivity saved her from hurting herself and gave reason to live. But the life is cruel and he was taken away from her.
Four years later, she is a part of successful company researching and evolving medicine and looking for a cure for untreatable diseases. She is still broken, silent and deeper in depression than she has ever been. She is lost without her sunshine and scars all over her body are the proofs. Her life suddenly changes when the manager of her research faculty changes. He is a young, ambitious and very arrogant grandson of the CEO and a spitting image of her sunshine. She is lost and he is intrigued.

I like inflicting pain. Not on others but on myself. Some people would call me depressed but I'm not. If anything the pain makes me happy. I started "self harming" at the mere age of nine. Or at least, that's what she called it. My therapist, I mean. She ended up giving me a life time supply of antidepressants and some shitty advice.
