Kestrelheart has always been a really secretive cat. He does things without telling anyone, he bottles up everything he wants to say, he doesn't talk much, and most importantly, he hides everything from everyone.
After he becomes a medicine apprentice, he begins to have unusual dreams. He begins to grow paranoid because it feels like the dreams are following him, and there's constantly something he needs to talk about.
The problem is that he doesn't have anyone to talk to. His leader has never wanted to listen to him speak, even as a medicine cat. The deputy is always busy, and his mentor is only focused on his academics more than anything.
At one particular Gathering, he meets a new apprentice, who is welcoming, and much more than he's used to. he begins to see her and thinks about opening up about his odd dreams, as they're getting more intense and desperate.

but that's against the warrior code, right?..

21 parts Complete

A fanfiction book based on the Warriors series by Erin Hunter. Forest of Blood ~ Volume Three ~ Arc One Thistlestorm is worried for his Clan, and especially for his mate who has seemingly gone wild. His mind is clouded with worry for Snowberry and he's afraid he won't be able to get over her disappearance. If a battle is to come, Thistlestorm is certain they will lose. Featherwing is pregnant with Crashclaw's kits, and she's desperate to find a way to keep it secret. She's hoping that her brother won't find out, but she knows he was a way of figuring things out. She fears for her future family, if she dies, then so do her kits. Snowberry is fighting the spirit that is possessing her body. She knows that she is being possessed now, but since her actual mind isn't really with her body anymore, it's difficult to go back to normal. She desperately tries to fight her possesser in her dreams - where she can be herself - but he beats her every single time. Now Snowberry fears she'll never get back to Thistlestorm. Will the Clans be able to beat the rising darkness? Or will they fall in their last battle and create a forest of blood?
