The Glowing Land 1, Tale of Two Pillars

The world of Evera always burned with the fire of war until one day God imposed punishment that hit humanity in the First Era. The end of the First Era gave birth to the Second Era where a new order of life was established to restore justice and peace. Humanity is now led by the Pillars, the strongest Magyas with the noblest hearts, as leaders.

Century after century passed. The rise of the varya as bearers of regalia in the lands of Il-Shan, Hattin, Autrous, Rune, and Sevire restarted the struggle for power, stripped the Pillar System of its sacredness, and caused great suffering among the people. The Pillars are determined to stop this injustice. With the help of vandarins, they launched a rebellion to bring about the Third Era of freedom, peace, and unity.

Book 1 of The Glowing Land, Tale of Two Pillars, tells of the story of young Matta Attica, the best Magya Guru in the land of Sevire. Leaving his hometown at the age of 10, Attica went to the capital of Meskana to study at the Magya Academy. His dream is to become a forest guard, but his special talent and idealism cause him to be drawn into the secret movements of the Pillars and vandarins.

Torn apart in the midst of the feud between Sevire and its enemy Rune, between the vandarins and the Regis, and between the hopes and realities of life, Attica finally finds its identity. However, when a real great war will once again loom over Rossia continent, can Attica face the enemy within herself and survive as a supporter of Pillaric's vision?
