The 52nd Hunger Games. Recently, the Gamemakers have been more brutal, more vicious, more creative. First, the Quarter Quells-- Marley hated that year, the danger lurking behind the beauty, it seemed crueler than necessary-- and then the 51st, maybe one of the worst years, with those awful parrots... the Victor was from District 4, the same as the young boy expected to be the first consecutive winner after being reaped for what will either be the end of his life or the worst part of it.

What would happen if Katniss hadn't won the games? Well the rebellion never happened and the games continued on. This year, it's time for the 4th quarter quell and the capitol has a big surprise for the districts. There will be three games. The first game will consists of district 1-6. 3 males and 3 females will be reaped from each district to participate. 12 of the 36 will move in to a final game. Then the second game will consist of district 7-12. 3 males and 3 females will also be reaped. Again 12 of the 36 will move on to a final game.
