Hazel Vellichor has had her suspicions on Dominik of Equinox, and not until a faithful council meeting was it confirmed. Now, a threat is posed from within one of her supposed 'ally' kingdoms but she knows better. And the other kingdoms should as well, but Aphelion's dying queen has plans that are much different. Even when on her death bed, wars are being waged, by her soldiers and others alike. Hazel deems it crucial that she brings together the children of Caldera, Aphelion, and Sirius to face this threat to its face. To rid of the weed from its roots. So, she does. Though, the dying queen's lies seem to have spread far and wide, seeping into the public bodies at each turn and corner, leaving Hazel and her friends in constant peril, looking for their own allies in this war against a Jemma Hamilton, a tyrant.
