GENERATION X SPIDER-MAN (Issue #27)

"UNDISCOVERED"
After being bitten by a genetically engineered spider, young Peter Parker finds that he now has incredibly enhanced strength, speed and agility. Along with the ability to adhere to any surface, a precognitive spider-sense that warns him of danger and a pair of mechanized web shooters, the idealistic teenager fights against evil as the costumed hero Spider-Man.
Set during the decade of the 1990's, this is a Generation X version of the Amazing Spider-Man story. This is a time when young people believed that they had the power to change the world for the better. In order to make a difference, Peter will need to rely on his friends for help and have the courage to believe in good.

LAST ISSUE:
The holiday season began at the Parker residence for a joyful Thanksgiving dinner. Peter and his Aunt May played host to a large group of family and friends. It was a fun time for the teenage boy and his friends as they continued to enjoy their senior year of high school. That fun continued into the weekend as the Midtown High Tigers defeated the Tilden High Blue Devils by a score of 27-26 to win the New York state football championship.
After months of waiting, Oscorp's Z-99 Cold Fusion Reactor was finally ready to be unveiled to the public. However, the big event was interrupted by Adrian Toomes and the monstrous Rhino. It was another chaotic situation at Oscorp Tower. The pair of villains had every intention of stealing the valuable machine, but their plan was soon foiled by the unexpected appearance of the Amazing Spider-Man. This time, the wall crawler may have met his match in the menacing form of the Rhino.
