In a remote town in the Puradera region, lives Ángel, a young woman who is passionate about Pokémon but whose desire to become a trainer is constantly frustrated by her overprotective parents. Always concerned about his safety, they prohibit him from leaving the house to venture into the vast world of Pokémon.

However, Ángel's destiny changes when his older brother, Saul, returns home after years of absence. Saul, an experienced and respected Pokémon trainer in the region, understands his younger sister's longing and decides to intervene. With persuasive skill, she convinces her parents to allow Angel to fulfill her dream of becoming a Pokémon trainer, under one condition: he will accompany her on her journey as her mentor and protector.
