I've seen a lot of fan-fiction crossovers where Nico shadow travels to Gotham and meets the batfam, but what if he already had a life there; one that he sometimes escaped to. What if his dad, Hades, had a fake identity as a rival billionaire to Bruce Wayne. What if Nico goes to Gotham one school year for a new experience, and meets the batfam that way instead. 


(Btw, this is not a Solangelo fanfic even though I ship it. Also none of the characters are mine; they belong to Rick Riordan and Dc.)

But after a unfortunate run in, Gotham gives Will a good reason to hate it. But a family of Bats might just change that again and make Will part of their family. In this sequel to Out of the Shadows, Nico sees familiar faces and revisits past places, but at least this time he has Will along for the ride.
