I'm not sure where this is going, but I will continue posting til this book is finished. 'Ex Lover Reprise' meets 'Affluent Adult Queer Marriage' and then they all blow up in a pile of flames. Petra, aka Peach, unexpectedly receives an invitation from a work friend to attend a charity ball and is unsure of who to bring as her date. She reaches out to her estranged friend, Delaney, who agrees to accompany her. Petra is excited about reconnecting with Delaney, a childhood friend and an ex-lover, and looks forward to the evening ahead. But this brews tension between Petra, and Alina, her wife, setting the stage for potential conflicts and resolutions. Is sneaking around as juvenile as when they were children?
