Mary Ann and Luminous are special. They are not from the Shiganshina district or even these walls. They were born behind different walls but left at the age of 5 and 6 after the fall of the King and Queen, Mary's parents, and being used as experiments. They were saved halfway through an experiment making them half titan.

This is the first time I've written a story like this, however I feel that I should explain some plot points since I did try to stick as close to the anime canon as possible but there are a few things I'd like to clear up first.
