This is a horror novel , all the places and people mentioned here are not real and made up , do if they match any reality , it's solely coincidental, although I may or may not have been inspired by a particular place in this world that encouraged me to write this story

This story begins in the year 2001, although maybe it started twenty six years before that when Alice was born. Or even before that when her parents met each other. You could say it probably started centuries ago when England was covered in thick oak woodland. Maybe I'm getting ahead of myself or maybe behind, for now every story has to start somewhere. Alice is a slightly plump office worker. She lives in a shared flat in London with some other girls, who she hardly ever talks to as she is very shy.
