As a child, Maria Drake invented an imaginary world; Karinthus. Maria and her imaginary friend, Peter, often guarded Karinthus from the imaginary monsters that lurked about. She often spent hours in her room with Peter, conquering the hideous beasts that continuously tried to destroy Karinthus. The pair depended on each other; she depended on him to protect her world, and he depended on her for his sole existence. Feeding off her imagination, the monsters grew strong and formed minds of their own. Becoming too powerful, Maria and Peter often struggled to keep them at bay. As Maria grew up, she soon left her imagination behind. Along with Peter, Karinthus and the monsters that terrorized it. Fading away, Peter was left to lurk in the shadows forever. Like a normal teenager, Maria went to school, had a boyfriend, had amazing friends, everything was perfect. Until she saw them. The monsters began to lurk in her world; the real world. Killing randomly, Maria needs to stop the monsters before they destroy her for good. Not strong enough to conquer them on her own, Maria needs Peter, fast. Will Peter come out of the shadows and team up with Maria once more? Or has he already faded away?
