The Little Mermaid tells the story of Lashanie, a mermaid princess who dreams of becoming human. After rescuing a handsome prince named Varian from a shipwreck, Lashanie makes a deal with the sea witch Ursula, trading her voice for legs in a chance to win the prince's love. With only three days to get Varian to kiss her and break the spell, Lashanie faces challenges on land and Ursula's schemes. In a final confrontation, Lashanie's love and her father's sacrifice lead to Ursula's defeat and Lashanie's happily ever after, allowing her to live in both the human and mermaid worlds.
