SINGLE DAD

Alright, check it out. Junior year was supposed to be chill as fuck. Me, Kyree, just doing my shit, dating Kyia, the baddest chick in school. We were that power couple, no bullshit about it. But being a single dad ain't easy, you feel me? Juggling school, my daughter, and keeping up with Kyia's attitude? Shit, it was like a damn rollercoaster.

Kyia, she fine as hell, but goddamn, she got that fire. Always mouthing off about something. Swear to God, we bumped heads more times than I can count. One minute we laughing, the next we arguing over some dumb shit. But that's just us - fire and ice, you know?

Prom rolled around, and we decided to do it big. Booked a hotel room, just me and her. Ain't nobody gonna mess with our night. Had our crew with us too - Ashton, Inda, Trey, Naimoi - all of 'em. We partied like there was no tomorrow, on some real wild shit. Took over that hotel suite like it was ours, blasting music, sippin' on whatever we could sneak in.

Kyia, she looked stunning in that dress. Had me feeling some type of way, like damn, that's my girl right there. We danced like fools, laughing our asses off, forgetting all the bullshit. For once, everything felt perfect.

But then, of course, drama had to creep in. Some wannabe player tried stepping up to Kyia, thinking he got a shot. I wish a mothafucka would. On my mama, I was ready to throw down. Kyia ain't having none of it though, shut his ass down so quick, had him looking stupid as fuck.

After that, we chilled on the balcony, just me and her. Talking about our future, bullshit, dreams, all that. She kissed me, said she loved me. Swear to God, my heart skipped a beat.

Junior year might have been a rollercoaster, but with Kyia by my side, it was all worth it. Can't wait to see what the future holds for us.
