Alastor's assistant, or Vox's assistant? This is starting to get complicated.

Our lovely y/n dropped in hell many years ago, far before Vox had updated to a flat screen and far before Vox's and Alastor's falling out. Y/n made the mistake of selling their soul to the devil, aka Alastor, who also happened to have a soul contract with Vox. What that contract exactly entailed y/n didn't know.

After Vox finds a way to break his contract and start gaining power, him and y/n have a falling out of their own. Years after this falling out, Alastor is going away on business and orders that y/n spy on their dear old pal, Vox, while Alastor is away.
This leads to y/n trying to worm their way back into Vox's life, and managing to land a job as Vox's new assistant

Reader is referred to as gender neutral but is implied to be amab. There's a lot of Vox with blatantly female readers so I decided to change it up and give more options. This is super self-indulgent, I'm just kinda bored and trying to get back into writing after a long break so sorry if updates are iffy. Chapter lengths will vary.
