Vee, a 20-year-old college sophomore, isn't exactly something a parent would brag about. Her grades are just above passing, and her volleyball skills were the only thing her parents could be moderately "proud" of. Her older brother, Jude, is their parents' golden child. Annoyingly smart, funny, all-star athlete. They put all their money and time into him and his hockey career. So, imagine her surprise when her parents announce that they can't afford both tuitions this year, so they're only paying for Jude's. No biggie, except she now she has to juggle a part time job, school, and tennis. Things take an even worse turn when her part-time, minimum-wage job that could barely cover her tuition fires her.
