Mason: a quiet guitar/piano player who lives in a small town just away from Portland, Maine. He's just an average book reading, classical music listening to type of guy. It was just another day when he saw moving trucks in front of the abandoned house next to his. When a girl walks out, he assumes she's quiet and ignores her. Then he sees what's inside of the moving truck. A large terrarium and a drum set. Great.

Skye: an outgoing drummer who lives right in the middle of LA. Her dad is a music producer with a whole lot of money and plans for her musical career. But a change of plans comes along when she's accepted into a college all the way in Maine. Her dad decides to hold off on the music to let her get an education and pays for a cheap house that is just ever so conveniently close to her new college.
