This text is a near identical copy to my current documentation of the alternate history being created and used as the foundation for "the New Story" and is therefore subject to change as my research evolves and progresses.

The purpose of this text's release is to demonstrate that work is being done on the current project, and to allow insight into the admittedly complicated world the new Azur Lane story will be based out of.

A brief summery of the alternate history itself is as follows;
This is a timeline very similar to our own, with the main exception being the economic and military power of Canada, and its impact on the world stage and historical events as we know them. In this world Canada is allowed to grow and develop faster thanks to a much quicker discovery of the vast resources held within it's border, and English colonial expansion through the interior, spreading a growing population further across Canada. This would have many social and economic repercussions, however for the sake of time management and the story to come off the back of this alternate history, the Royal Canadian Navy will be the primary focus of discussion.

-Book one- When the war between Azur Lane and the Red Axis broke out, a person led their fleet into the fray. The fleet, lesser known by many, has achieved great feats through its time out at sea and continues to impress as the battles go by. The person, unlike his subordinates, is only human. Yet knowing how weak his body is in comparison, he continues to push both his limits and luck to the brink as he leads his ships with efficiency like no other. Assigned to command the Maple Monarchy's fleet in Azur Lane, William Thompson would prove his worth through tactics and victory. His calm and devoted mentality would lead his fleet through hurdles without faltering. The strong and compassionate image he would display quickly gained the respect of all who followed him. Yet one aspect he did not expect was to take on that of a parental role. Though not consistent, now and again he would find a ship in need, one who was simply confused, or others who had lost their way. These ships, though as tough as you may think, still had weaknesses. With trouble understanding their place in life, and the emotions they faced, William would help guide them through. The ships were taught how to manage their lives, and to understand their limits. He proved to them they were not simply machines, but closer to humans than they ever thought. With their trust and grit, he would lead them all through the hardships they'd face. Humanity had a dream to Explore and conquer the oceans , But that all changed when an unknown enemy appeared known as the "Sirens" humans were pushed out of the Seas by the Sirens advanced weaponry and humanity began to descend into a Dark age. Siren attacks had become frequent enough that humans were on the Brink of annihilation. However one Day humanity found a way to fight back against the other worldly threats, using mysterious objects known as wisdom cubes, the K.A.N.S.E.N. were created from said cubes. With the power of Warships embedded into their bodies, they allowed humanity to fight Back against the Sirens and begin to reclaim what was once lost. But divisions in beliefs on how to deal with the Sirens, threaten to obscure the original threat they came together to fight and turn humanity and its protectors against each other, either caused by Siren influence or the actions and beliefs of major nations leaders, or a little bit of both, one thing is for certain. No matter when or where it happens.... War, War never changes. However sometimes all it takes is a small change somewhere, a Flap of the wings of a butterfly, an Action taken, or an Action not taken. The Smallest changes can Alter how history will play out. The Bigger question I would like to Ask... What will be the catalyst that starts the winds of Change THIS time? (DISCLAIMER: I own nothing from Azur lane, Azur lane is owned by Manjuu and Yongshi, along with others parties who made content officially associated with them. I only own the Main character and other side characters created for this story, along with this Story of which I am to Write. My first fanction in my Wattpad profile about Azur Lane... ...and it all starts in June 1942, when the Azur Lane's massive fleet is setting out in a decisive naval battle against the combined Sakura Empire and the Siren fleet; hellbent on trying to take the atoll of Midway, until they are caught in the Mirror Sea cast by Akagi. But during battle, an unknown mysterious figure suddenly caused things to go badly awry, and their dimension becomes extremely unstable... Sometime later.. one of these shipgirls, named USS Enterprise (Yorktown-class CV-6)... ends up in a very different place... The world that she sees is very different to her own, a different universe that takes place in the time when World War II have long been ended, and both factions; Eagle Union and Sakura Empire (or in this real-world version; United States and Japan) are now close allies... Question is... How well can she able to handle the modern, now-changed world, and can she find her way back home or would she be stuck here forever? ---- (A/N note: This story incorporates fictional and non-fictional aspects and elements and this first fanfic of mine is inspired by @Musashi311's story called Azrael. Be sure to read his story, its my favorite...) Warning: Mature story. Some strong verbal languages, like bad words or ethnic slurs, or any graphic content may appear. A Royal Sovereign by EclipseNoodle

"Not one step back!" -Admiral of the Fleet Bernard York Lancaster, 2102 Humanity has endured countless calamities in the 21st century, and the transition was only more chaotic. The invasion of the alien species commonly known as "Sirens" [Sirena Alienus] has ushered in a new age; an age of great sacrifice and equally grand valor. While the invasion of the Sirens has united the world in a shared goal ― one of banishing these aliens who do not belong ― and prevented the unfurling of the Third world war, it destroyed countless cities, destroyed international communication, and killed and starved millions. The Sovereign-class of fast battleships were designed as flagships from the beginning. The design and construction of the lead ship of the class ― UNS Sovereign ― was finished incredibly fast; laid down on the 3rd of March 2099 and commissioned 1st of November 2100. After three years of dutiful service and countless battles, the Sovereign finally met its match and was left with only one option ― self-destruction. And with only a mere press of a button, the pride of humanity and the Human-Siren war were ended ― Sirens forced to retreat to wherever they came from and the Sovereign erased from the surface of the Earth, only remembered through models, photos, and fond memories. But its service has not come to an end, merely continued... ...in a familiar, yet distant world. How will he influence the fate of this unknown world? How will the organization known as Azur Lane react? What will he find? ― Friends? Enemies? Comrades? Or perhaps, something more... Off the coast of Germany, three kansen sisters sailed in the darkness of the night. All three of them struck with curiosity. Following the trail of anomalous signals, they encountered something - unusual. Something that was not supposed to be there. Something seemingly defying all logic. Among the three sisters, one of them was especially affected by the sheer wonder the anomaly seemed to emanate. Anti-Aircraft frigate FGS Hessen, the third and final ship of the Sachsen-class, is among the most advanced kansen the German Navy has to offer. And yet, her curiosity proved to be her mistake. Accidentally getting too close for comfort to the anomaly, she was subsequently pulled in - resulting in her getting separated from her sisters and stranded in a seemingly familiar, but still foreign world - the world of Azur Lane. Stranded in a world where the concepts of modern naval warfare have been turned upside down, will she adapt by utilizing her technological advantage to the fullest and perhaps find a way home - Or will she sink to the bottom of the ocean, forever abandoned in a world not her own? Disclaimer: This story has been written as a first-timer in the huge domain that is story writing. As such, expect amateur/beginner-typical mistakes in plot and writing, as I still have much to learn/perfect. Update: Greetings! If you read this, it means the story has been completed. In the future, if I have the time, I will use what I have learned to rewrite this story in order to eliminate grammar mistakes, correct (but not completely change) a few plot elements, and completely annihilate all parts where 'script format' is used. It will just be a general cleanup of my writing. Azur Lane belongs to Manjuu.

(A/N: Everyone thank Wattpad Sokal7 for helping me bring back this story. It took a very long time, but I've managed to bring it back. I made some changes but almost all of it is the same.) ========== Summary: What if during the 'War for Independence', instead of just 13 colonies choosing to secede from the British Empire, it was ALL the colonies of British North America that chose to fight for their independence. After winning their independence, the colonies would band together and unite to form the United States of Canada. Throughout its history, the USC has fought for its own existence in multiple wars and their actions have changed the course of human history. Despite all the faults and setbacks, the nation was forced to endure, the USC stands as one of the major superpowers in the world. However, everything changes when a GATE like structure appears and out came a roman like army. After eliminating the invaders and going to a world of fantasy, the USC soon encounter another GATE structure and are shocked to learn that it leads to a Parallel Earth, one with a radically different history. After encountering the JSDF, the people of the parallel Earth are soon in for a shock when they meet their alternate counterparts, especially the Parallel Americans. The course of human history for both the Alternate and Parallel Earth's will change forever, one that could either lead to peace... or total war. ========== Pairing: OC x Harem
