This text is a near identical copy to my current documentation of the alternate history being created and used as the foundation for "the New Story" and is therefore subject to change as my research evolves and progresses.

The purpose of this text's release is to demonstrate that work is being done on the current project, and to allow insight into the admittedly complicated world the new Azur Lane story will be based out of.

A brief summery of the alternate history itself is as follows;
This is a timeline very similar to our own, with the main exception being the economic and military power of Canada, and its impact on the world stage and historical events as we know them. In this world Canada is allowed to grow and develop faster thanks to a much quicker discovery of the vast resources held within it's border, and English colonial expansion through the interior, spreading a growing population further across Canada. This would have many social and economic repercussions, however for the sake of time management and the story to come off the back of this alternate history, the Royal Canadian Navy will be the primary focus of discussion.

My first fanction in my Wattpad profile about Azur Lane... ...and it all starts in June 1942, when the Azur Lane's massive fleet is setting out in a decisive naval battle against the combined Sakura Empire and the Siren fleet; hellbent on trying to take the atoll of Midway, until they are caught in the Mirror Sea cast by Akagi. But during battle, an unknown mysterious figure suddenly caused things to go badly awry, and their dimension becomes extremely unstable... Sometime later.. one of these shipgirls, named USS Enterprise (Yorktown-class CV-6)... ends up in a very different place... The world that she sees is very different to her own, a different universe that takes place in the time when World War II have long been ended, and both factions; Eagle Union and Sakura Empire (or in this real-world version; United States and Japan) are now close allies... Question is... How well can she able to handle the modern, now-changed world, and can she find her way back home or would she be stuck here forever? ---- (A/N note: This story incorporates fictional and non-fictional aspects and elements and this first fanfic of mine is inspired by @Musashi311's story called Azrael. Be sure to read his story, its my favorite...) Warning: Mature story. Some strong verbal languages, like bad words or ethnic slurs, or any graphic content may appear. Azur Lane: The Final Push by TatsuyaHisaki

After a long struggle to get his life started, Jacob makes his way to a Naval base known as Azur Lane, made up of the Eagle Union camp and Royal Navy camp. Realizing that his goal matched theirs, he worked with Azur Lane to accomplish his goal. Selfish? Yes, but those in Azur Lane didn't mind considering Jacob's past. A while later, those of the Eagle Union and Royal Navy camps decided to make Jacob their commander, which Jacob agreed to. A while after that, through a bit of struggles, Jacob convinced the Sakura Empire, as well as the Iron Blood camp, to join back with Azur Lane. Their struggle in combatting a deadly force, beings from another world known as Sirens, is not an easy one. Many times has Jacob almost been brought to his knees by them, once when he was only at the age of twelve. These Sirens attacked and destroyed Jacob's village, killing everyone he held dear to him at the time. The reason for this attack is vague, not even Jacob fully knows why the Sirens attacked his village, except for the fact that his father did something to anger the Sirens. Exactly what his father did...is unknown. What's in store for Jacob and Azur Lane? No one knows. Who will win the war? Will it be Azur Lane, through their struggles to rid the Sirens from Earth and claim the seas back from the Sirens, or will the Sirens prevail and conquer Earth, and most likely put an end to humanity as we know it? Find out here in the continuation of "Azur Lane: A Fight Against the Sirens!" *Note, this is book 2 of my Azur Lane series!!* *Disclaimer: I do not own any characters from Azur Lane, nor do I hold claim to any pictures, videos, or music used in this story, for they are claimed by their rightful owners. "Not one step back!" -Admiral of the Fleet Bernard York Lancaster, 2102 Humanity has endured countless calamities in the 21st century, and the transition was only more chaotic. The invasion of the alien species commonly known as "Sirens" [Sirena Alienus] has ushered in a new age; an age of great sacrifice and equally grand valor. While the invasion of the Sirens has united the world in a shared goal ― one of banishing these aliens who do not belong ― and prevented the unfurling of the Third world war, it destroyed countless cities, destroyed international communication, and killed and starved millions. The Sovereign-class of fast battleships were designed as flagships from the beginning. The design and construction of the lead ship of the class ― UNS Sovereign ― was finished incredibly fast; laid down on the 3rd of March 2099 and commissioned 1st of November 2100. After three years of dutiful service and countless battles, the Sovereign finally met its match and was left with only one option ― self-destruction. And with only a mere press of a button, the pride of humanity and the Human-Siren war were ended ― Sirens forced to retreat to wherever they came from and the Sovereign erased from the surface of the Earth, only remembered through models, photos, and fond memories. But its service has not come to an end, merely continued... ...in a familiar, yet distant world. How will he influence the fate of this unknown world? How will the organization known as Azur Lane react? What will he find? ― Friends? Enemies? Comrades? Or perhaps, something more... Off the coast of Germany, three kansen sisters sailed in the darkness of the night. All three of them struck with curiosity. Following the trail of anomalous signals, they encountered something - unusual. Something that was not supposed to be there. Something seemingly defying all logic. Among the three sisters, one of them was especially affected by the sheer wonder the anomaly seemed to emanate. Anti-Aircraft frigate FGS Hessen, the third and final ship of the Sachsen-class, is among the most advanced kansen the German Navy has to offer. And yet, her curiosity proved to be her mistake. Accidentally getting too close for comfort to the anomaly, she was subsequently pulled in - resulting in her getting separated from her sisters and stranded in a seemingly familiar, but still foreign world - the world of Azur Lane. Stranded in a world where the concepts of modern naval warfare have been turned upside down, will she adapt by utilizing her technological advantage to the fullest and perhaps find a way home - Or will she sink to the bottom of the ocean, forever abandoned in a world not her own? Disclaimer: This story has been written as a first-timer in the huge domain that is story writing. As such, expect amateur/beginner-typical mistakes in plot and writing, as I still have much to learn/perfect. Update: Greetings! If you read this, it means the story has been completed. In the future, if I have the time, I will use what I have learned to rewrite this story in order to eliminate grammar mistakes, correct (but not completely change) a few plot elements, and completely annihilate all parts where 'script format' is used. It will just be a general cleanup of my writing. Azur Lane belongs to Manjuu.
