"From this moment," he rasped, his breath hot against her ear, "you are mine. Until the very breath leaves your body, Sol. I crave every secret, every hidden inch of you, I will claim them all. Obsession is a frail word for the hunger that burns for you, a fire that consumes my heart and devours my sanity."
He paused, his gaze tracing the curve of her neck, the rise and fall of her chest. "Let me consume you, and together we will burn brighter than any star, a glorious pyre in the endless night." His lips, cool and unforgiving, brushed the fragile shell of her ear, sending a shiver down her spine.
Her lips stretched into a smile, as fragile as spun glass, tears shimmering in her eyes. "My life, Shi-Oh," she whispered, her voice raw, "is no haven. It's a wreckage, a storm that rages within. No one ever looked at me with anything but indifference. You stormed in, a beautiful tempest, and dared to offer me a sliver of hope. I don't understand this pull, this madness that consumes me, but I know this much - I am utterly, irrevocably yours."
Her gaze, a drowning well of despair, met his. "I will embrace your darkness, every scar etched upon your soul. You can claim me, mold me, make me yours in any way you desire. But Shi-Oh," her voice hitched, a plea lacing her words, "don't abandon me. For if you do, I swear on the ashes of my broken life, I will wither and die."
The air crackled with a dark promise, a twisted dance between desire and possession.
