Morìgen Momento works for the criminal organization called the Devils of Heaven, helping his father commit illegal deeds in the city of Yayasuno. However, while on a job,  Morì gets caught while his father runs away, leaving him alone to face justice..

Right before Morì is sentenced to life in prison, another organization called the Mafia Mortis storms into the courtroom, causing chaos as famous criminal and 2nd in command of the Mafia, Haze Bernadette, helps Morì flee.

Morì joins the Mafia with convincing from Haze, so he can take revenge on his father who left him to face punishment alone.
