There was a dark figure on the roof; based on the little outline I got, I could tell it was a person. 
Suddenly, every bone in my body wanted to run up the stairs and stop them from doing something they couldn't take back. I pushed open the roof door, and I was right. It was a girl, who was seated there with her arms stretched out by her side and the wind in her hair.
"You okay?" I asked as I moved closer to her, still clutching the tray in my hand.
"Yes. I'm not going to jump," She replied. I could feel her rolling her eyes. 
"Then why don't you move away?" I asked 
"Why don't you move closer?"

Because I know that after a while my eyes will adjust to the dark and I will be able to make things stand out. I'm always safe. I always know where I am. But not today, it was so dark, all I could see was a suffocating darkness around me. Aria my wolf huffed in annoyance when even she couldn't see a thing or couldn't pick up a scent around us. 'Ophelia, what's happening?' she muttered. 'I don't know' I whispered back aloud. The words had barely left my mouth when I heard something running quickly in our direction. I ran, not knowing what direction I was going. I tripped over something and fell flat on my face. Feeling a presence behind me I screamed and tried to crawl away...
