Reconnecting | Shu x Valt | Beyblade Fanfitcion

Shu and Valt have always been best friends ever since they were five, but the Red Eye incident left Shu distant, leaving his relationship with Valt a huge gap that couldn't be fixed unless they worked it out.

But Wakiya is planning a big cruise adventure for every beyblader in the tournament to have their fun before competing for the championship title, and Shu and Valt are left with no choice but to work things out.

What if both of the best friends had a secret they never had the chance to tell one another. Is it too late to reconnect?

"Ever since the Red Eye incident, you've been like an entirely different person, Shu! Why can't you just talk to me about it?!" Valt sobs, grabbing his arm with pressure. The albino turns around, his crimson orbs glimmering with tears. "You wouldn't understand, Valt!" He shouts back, yanking his arm from the bluenette.

Valt gets closer, palm reaching to the albino's chest. "Then help me understand!" Shu leans in momentarily, just slightly, eyes gazing down at Valt's lips. Valt looks up at Shu, muttering something underneath his breath as they both got closer.

"I can't." Shu says, storming off without a word.
