No one ever plans on their life to go wrong. No one ever sits up at night wondering what they would do if they had their best friend cruelly ripped out of their life, much less their brother. But when Courtney is forced back into the seams of high school without Jacob she gets no other choice but to walk on. She settles back into a daily routine, avoiding any activities that could place her normally in society or being back haunting memories. Her life is dramatically altered when one direction decides to spend their teenage years at the high school she can't escape. Courtney not only has to deal with all the new drama but the bullying prevention campaign they bring with them. When given a choice to change her life though, she's extremely wary and unsure to break the ties with everything she thought she wanted since her brothers death.
