NIKI Shiina was never expecting his life to turn out this way. At 21, he is a full-time streamer, who just signed a contract with an agency. The reason it seems so surreal? He wasn't a gamer - at least, not until he met Rinne 8 years prior. In the two years before his fifteenth birthday, Niki and Rinne would spend all their free time gaming. So it was shock when, at the age of seventeen, Rinne vanished without a trace. Six years later, a mysterious new streamer is signed to the agency, due to start in a few weeks. Even stranger, Niki sees a strangely familiar username pop up in his stream chats, and a long-forgotten account suddenly reactivates.

KOHAKU Oukawa, a boy kept under strict orders to remain home, finds solace in gaming throughout his pre-teen years. His online friend, Love - whom he has never been able to meet - keeps him company online, until one day he stops logging in. Aged 18 and finally free from the grip of his family, Kohaku signs a contract with an agency. When he moves into the Starmony Apartments, the last thing he expected to hear was the voice he'd been missing for three years.
