Fourteen year old Dove Curtis feels outcasted from her family, invisible to the world. When in school, she finds friends, she finds love. Everything seems perfect. Her life flips upside down one day at the news of her twin brother, Ponyboy Curtis, and friend Johnny Cade, had stabbed and killed a Soc, and have ran away. She must learn to deal with new problems, all while helping her brothers and attempting to find her twin brother.
