You know those stories you read were the guy rejects the girl? Well this time the girl rejects the guy.
CJ had no last name. She had no family, no loved ones and no friends. She didn't want any. They were distraction. Obstacles in the way of her objective; kill the pack that killed hers.
The only problem is that the soon to be alpha of that pack is CJs mate.
Xavier blackthorn was part of the oldest pack. They fought for dominance and often wiped out whole packs. Only this time they missed a person.
Once he finds his mate he's overjoyed, only to be crushed when he's rejected.
