It's 1943, and Y/n is one of the smartest people of her generation, and she's been best friends with Steve and Bucky her entire life. When she's finally given the chance to do her part in the war, she takes it excitedly, and gets to meet Howard Stark, Peggy Carter, and all the scientists in charge of making the first ever Super Soldier Serum. But what will that mean for the growing tension between her and Bucky? And what will happen to her as Steve becomes Captain America and Bucky becomes the Winter Soldier?
