All I Hear is the Beat of Your Heart

Do you ever fell alone in the world, isolated, hated, forgotten. Do you ever feel like people are always talking about you and making fun of you.. but you cant hear what they are saying. Not because they whisper or do it when you aren't around, but because you actually cant hear them. Brooklyn is 16 years old and lives in Miami, Florida. She goes to a normal high school (Miami Jackson high School) but is contently being bullied by all of the students. She lives in a 5 story mansion, has cute clothes and is a very cute girl who looks like she belongs with the populars, one problem... she is deaf. A social outcast because she is different. But Austin doesn't see her as a outcast or freak, Austin doesn't feel uncomfortable being her neighbor. Austin is the only one who wants to know her, but she is scared of being hurt like before. Brooklyn lives in her own little shell of fear and pain, but Austin is determined to break that shell.
