Following a lot of the Dragon Age game series storyline by Bioware but with a twist...
A young Dalish girl's clan is slaughtered by Tevinter mages but they take the girl as a slave and burns Lyrium into her skin. (Yes, like a certain angsty porcupine we know.) Before the girl is taken to Tevinter she over powers the mages with her new abilities and is found by a group of Templars. Not knowing what to do with the girl they take her back to the Ferelden Circle of Magi where she later on meets the Grey Warden...
She's bi so she'll blush at anyone who flirts with her, like most of Dragon Age characters. Her romance won't happen until Veilguard.
I originally started writing this to help get Dragon Age out of my system but it's starting to make my love for it grow stronger and I wish to share it with others. I'm open to any lore corrections. I unfortunately don't have any of the books so some of the lore may be lost to me but I'll try my best with the knowledge I've gained from the games, series and movie. I hope you dear readers enjoy it and let's keep this a positive and save space to share our passions. NO BOTS!

What Comes After (Dragon Age: The Veilguard Solas x Lavellan)
The world has done Solas a disservice, demanding so much from one man who has given up everything of himself to save a world that still demands and takes, and takes and takes and takes until he is left with nothing in the end but a shell of himself and a life full of regrets. "Why?" And yet, he still questions what Ellana Lavellan so freely gives. A (slightly) slower burn version of the Solavellan reunion at the end of Veilguard. A/N: My headcanon is that Lavellan knows (somewhat, the gist of it anyway) about his memories and the things he's done. It feels too much like a bait-and-switch to me if he only reveals it all after she's joined him in the Fade prison, and that she's been misled and lied to. That doesn't sit quite right with me for a happy Solavellan ending especially since she's basically pledged her entire life to him (of course, if it's a dysfunctional Solavellan ending then that works well!)Complete

COMPLETED Grey is thrown into a whole new world as the leader of the Inquisition, a group of individuals whom band together to take down a dark force known as Corypheus. His floppy, silvery hair and misty blue-grey eyes give off a dark mysterious aura, matching the past that he has. However, the dual wielding assassin just might meet his match in a Tevinter mage, none other than Dorian. Her long blonde locks and emerald green eyes might give off the image of innocence, but Sammie finds pleasure in dark magic, despite the warnings she gets about the aftermath of such magic. Sneaking off to fulfill her dark desires was much simpler before Hawke, a suave and confident companion at the least, became entangled in her life. Dalish scribe Avril finds that speaking to those with authority is practically impossible. She would rather hide behind her curly, dark blonde hair and a book rather than be dragged out to where a fight is being held. But can Solas, a fellow elf, bring her out of her shell and remind her of her glory days? Or will old flames get in the way of everything? Can a series of life or death adventures bring a group of individuals closer together? Or will it drive a wedge between them? ***This is a form of fanfiction, all rights to all of the characters and the main storyline goes to the creators of Dragon Age; I own nothing! Rook and Solas battle it out and wind up locked in the Fade together. Will they kill each other or will they heal Thedas and themselves? So, I didn't really like the ending of Veilguard and thus decided to write my own. This series begins at the "bad ending" where Rook and Solas end up in the Fade together (though Rook survives this). I incorporated some of the other aspects of the "better endings" where most of the Veilguard survives, barring Davrin/Assan and Bellara. I stove to give Rook what she was desperately lacking in game, which was a solid origin story. Yes, I am aware that it's a difficult backstory and it is intended to be that way for many reasons that will reveal themselves as the series goes forward. There are definitely some adult themes here. Those who already follow my work know that I don't shy away from the dark. This is a story about lies, anger, love, obsession, redemption and insane chemistry--not all in that order. I also felt my poor Inquisitor deserved some agency and through this story, I was able to give it to her. If you are easily triggered or don't like Solas with anyone else besides the Inquisitor, this might not be the series for you. I'm just giving a fair warning here. Please note chapter one begins with good deal of in-game dialogue.

Why me? I was no one, a Dalish mage sent to spy on the shems Conclave. I wasn't fit to lead anyone! Much of the story is based off of my most recent playthrough- I had never met Serana before and I truly loved Aela the Huntress as my companion, but once I met Serana, I threw Aela to the wolves, so to speak.
