Sixteen-year-old Blaire Van Doren's world is turned upside down when her mother remarries, uprooting them to a new town and blending their family with that of her stepfather's. Thrust into a house with her for new step brothers. Blaire struggles to find her place in this unfamiliar environment. With Olivia's support, Blaire starts to stand up to her bullies, both at school and at home. Slowly, she begins to assert herself, challenging her stepbrothers' cruelty and forging a fragile bond with them.
