The story before we all knew it, the prequel to the Maze Runner. Florence is the first girl to ever arrive in the Glade. Days after settling in, the Gladers see her as a fierce, brave, young girl who may just be their missing token to escaping the maze. Commencing her arrival, she notices a boy who catches her attention. Blonde, hazel eyes and extremely charming, a boy named Newt. He is the only thing that makes her smile in the dull, ominous environment. But life in the Glade isn't as carefree as it seems, and being the only girl doesn't mean she gets a bypass to the tough grind of the Maze.
