When a virus goes awry and contaminates the world's water supply, the U.P.D takes it upon themselves to be the saviors who find a cure. Just when things appear bleak, the next generation is born with a gene that gives them all hope. They're immune. But the world will soon find out that it takes more than a little blood to make a cure for the virus; the only way to get a taste of that immunity is through the sacrifice of the immune generation.
Saedi has only known the cold, clinical walls of the U.P.D her entire life; but when she sees something she shouldn't it puts everything into perspective, and she has to escape.
