Izumi Amano is a 15 year old girl living in Japan. She attends UA High School in hopes of becoming a pro hero. Her mother and her do not have much, and don't exactly live on the best side of town. They live in a 2 bedroom apartment and make the most of what they have. Izumi wants to be a pro hero in the hopes of giving her mother a better life. 

Her father is out of the picture. She has never met him, nor even knows what he looks like. He 'cursed' Izumi with her long silky crimson red hair, paired with crystal clear ocean blue eyes she inherited. 

Only along the way she ends up meeting her father for the first time. He was not who she had expected him to be, he has what seemed to be it all, yet abandoned her mother and her to keep his seemingly 'normal' family. But everything the filth of a man tried to keep hidden didn't stay hidden, Izumi and her knew found half brother make him suffer. 

Throughout Izumi's journey she ends up falling in love with her classmate Momo Yaoyorozu. She feels ashamed about it and questions her feelings, I mean how could a girl love another girl? It didn't make sense. What would her mother think? What would people think? What would Momo think... Does Momo even like girls, let alone Izumi?
