After Setrákus Ra tries to kill the last of the Loric and fails he, being the coward he is, takes the earths resources and flees back to Moogador with the rest of his fleet. In that time Ella manages to escape him but hasn't found the loophole to the charm he put on her yet. In the next year WWIII happens and with all the new weapons and technology the war is over very fast. All the Loric participate in the war blaming themselves for bringing the Mogadorians to earth, all 6 Loric miraculously survive. But throughout the war the 6 have been split up.

I started this book after the revenge of seven, but I have read the fate of ten so I'm going to add that in if you haven't read those books I strongly suggest it because there will be lots of spoilers
