All her life Stephanie has tried to be what everyone wanted her to be. She gets good grades, gets lead roles in plays, and has an amazing best friend, Marina. She's the perfect girl. But not really. Her father went missing when she was 8 and her mother has a drinking problem. The only way she can escape the pain is by singing her heart out when she's alone. After a lot of hard work, she finally gets tickets to a One Direction concert and manages to slip a letter into one of the boys pockets before the show. He reads it and begins an obsession with the girl, promising himself that he will find her. With so much darkness in Stephanie's life, will she ever find light?
