Neighbor and best friend to Steve Rogers, eventual fiancée of Bucky Barnes. Alex couldn't have asked for a more perfect life... except for maybe having her father around more often. A mere few hours after James' proposal, Alex is ripped away from the happy life and thrown into the hands of Hydra, tortured into doing their bidding. No one knew she survived. Not even Bucky Barnes. They masked her whenever he was in his presence, and if he showed even a hint of remembrance, he was sent straight to the chair.
Over 70 years later they are brought back together by the exact same people that split them apart. Except patching up the past and relighting that old burning love for each other isn't going to be an easy task. Life seems to enjoy throwing every and anything their way.
