Ju Garcia hasn't ever felt the need to become entangled with another romantically, much less hop into bed with them. In fact, she's never even felt attraction in the true consistence of the word her entire life and now that she is nearly thirty-two, she has even less interest, focusing on the career she loves. However, things can't always go the way they're planned and when a comic book creator, Hayden Weller, signs up with Ju's studio, things begin to stir within herself and the call to romance may just take the helm.
Hayden Weller is a geek through-and-through, wearing it like a badge of honor her entire life. She also happens to be a creator herself, working with her best friend to create a highly decorated and critically acclaimed webtoon. Still, that project is over as is their previous contract, so they begin interviewing potential companies and run into a woman with whom Hayden is immediately taken. However, Hayden has a dark past filled with regret, abuse and addiction and fears her own emotions may end everything she has worked for in chaos.
Fear controls many aspects of people's lives. Some defeat it, while others internal struggle is endless, but can Ju and Hayden overcome their inner demons and rise above? Better and perhaps together...?
