One day, Liora is visited by a mysterious wise man who reveals a century-old prophecy. He tells her she must go to Radiantia and marry one of the Altice brothers, though he does not specify which one. This prophecy, she later discovers, foretells that only the union of a sorceress of the arcane and a warrior of royal blood can prevent the rise of the Shadow King, an ancient evil poised to engulf Nedethgil in darkness. However, Liora faces a significant challenge: escaping the forgotten lands. The wise man suggests she use her magic to disguise herself.
