❝I see you eyein' me down, but you'll never know much past my name,
Or how I'm runnin' this room around and that I'm still half your age❝

Mackenzie Solace has always known speed. Racing flowed in her blood.

As the daughter of legendary five-time Formula 1 champion James Solace, she grew up to the roar of engines, the pressure of the spotlight and the need to stand out from the crowd. But when Mackenzie becomes the youngest driver to ever join the F1 circuit at just 16, the world is skeptical. With the weight of her father's legacy on her shoulders and a fierce determination to break records, Mackenzie is thrust into a world of high-stakes competition, surprising friendships, and the relentless unforgiving spotlight.

But, Mackenzie is a teenage girl in addition to being a driver and her challenges stretch off-track as well. Between classwork and gossip, she takes comfort in her old rival turned best friend, Arthur Laurent. Despite still driving in F2, Arthur continues to hold a huge role in her life as she battles to prove herself on the track. But, beneath the roar of the engines and the thrill of the race, Mackenzie slowly discovers that maybe her love for him isn't as platonic as she swears it is.

As she struggles in an environment that has never seen someone quite like her before, Mackenzie must decide whether to change herself to fit into the sport or change the sport.
