Clay has autism and finds comfort in simple things, the illuminated a fireplace on a winter's night, fish swimming and stuffed animals. However, this was all soon to change after a tragic accident. Clay finds himself alone, seeing his happiness slip away from one simple mistake. George doesn't have an easy home life, after noticing signs of possibly a muscle disease, his only wish is to get help for it, however his parents deny every word that is brought up about it. Yet, it gets worse by the day as George quickly looses any hope left. When Clay is left traumatised by his past, he thinks nothing will bring back the same happiness he once felt, but when George moves into the farm he often visits, that same joy that was extinguished with the fire, sparks again... *TRIGGER WARNINGS LISTED BELOW. Not a supernatural or paranormal story. Literally about smol beans.* Counseling. A week of counseling. Sure, there were 6 fights in a month, but Principal Evans just didn't understand. Riley wasn't the bully, they were. But they're nerds, and they don't seem like bullies. And of course, his home life is a mess; his mom's dead, and his dad walked out two years before his mom died. He lives with his little sister and his alcoholic grandmother. Things don't look very good for him. But then there's Cam. Cam is not the same, but he seems to understand a bit. And Riley seems to understand him. Maybe, just maybe, things can turn out okay.
