Throughout Half-Life 2's later sections in the city 17 uprising, you may have noticed that the resistance has such an abundant supply of rockets and ammunition. While a lot of it is obviously scavenged from the Combine, most of it fresh out of containers. How did these get here? Where did the Resistance end up acquiring these stockpiles of rockets and ammo?

That's where these assholes come in.

This is going to be a shortfic about a ragtag group of Resistance fighters who specialize in weapon salvage, resurrection, and distribution, and their race to locate a cache of soviet rockets before the Combine get to it first.

No major named characters are going to show up in this fic. That means no Gordon, no Alyx, no Eli, and NO GMAN. I'm not gonna pull a "but then Mr. Protagonist noticed a man dressed in a suit and tie watching him from the rafters...." Because none of these guys are important enough for that. 

I'm willing to make this a series if you guys want - heaven knows this franchise needs more content - but I only plan on doing the one chapter. Enjoy!All Rights Reserved

What he and his comrades didn't know was their was a portal there and they accidently activated it send Sgt. Stonks into another universe. How will he proceed and what is he to do?

Well, this explanation for the madness you're about to read is a bit of a long one. This is basically a somewhat continuation of my previous fic: Pooh, Ash, and Yuya's adventures of Star Wars: The Invasion of Equestria, in which the Separatist forces from Star Wars invaded and conquered Equestria. While I would recommend at least reading the first 4 chapters of that story to get some things, I'll just give an explanation of things and the reason for this fics creation. You see, after the Separatists led by Grievous and Queen Chrysalis took Equestria, Twilight and the rest of the Mane 7, alongside Pooh, Ash, and the rest of the crews, and a few surviving Clones escaped to Earth using the Magic Mirror connected to Canterlot High School where the Humane 7 were. They hid there for a while until they had the resources to liberate Equestria, however, by then the Clone Wars had long ended and the planet was now under the control of the Empire. So there were a few stories in between the conquest and liberation of Equestria, like how the Empire took back control from the Separatists that I didn't tell. In fact, I only showed the very end of how our heroes liberated Equestria, so I wanted to tell that gigantic battle too in a lot more detail. Which is where this story comes in, will be telling all those stories. In a way, this is a lot like Star Wars, I told one story and now I'm going back and telling a story that happened before or in-between the first story, complete with a few retcons to fit into my new continuity. (LOL). If you're still willing to read this insane story after this description, well then you have no one to blame but yourselves. XD.
