It had been seven years.
Seven years since it all started. Seven years since they had last seen Damien. Since then nothing had been the same. Friends became enemies and enemies became...acquaintances? A lot of it was confusing to say the least.
The soft thud of his, now empty, cup being set on the kitchen table took him out of his thoughts and made him focus more on the figure sitting opposite of him.
"You know, the weirdest part about the last few years has to be you starting to like coffe without sweetaner, Exodus." Rozela laughed, trying lighten the mood. She managed to get a soft
smile on her friends face, but it fell as
soon as it appeared. This day was hard for them both.
This was the day that that Dark Control had came back to their kingdom in Damiens body. Both of them had dark circles under their eyes from the lack of sleep.
"Hey..." Rozela started"I have something I wanted to talk to you about"
She was visibly uncomfortable and anxsious, she was failing to hide the studder in her voice and she was playing with her hands. This all confused but mostly worried Exodus as she was known for being incredibly calm and straight forward, he hadn't seen her like this for a very long time. He knew this was serious so he didn't interupt and just listend.
"I... I think I know how to bring him back"
"Bring back who?"

She's gone. She's gone. How can she just be gone? She could be hurt or dead, who knows. Fox's vision blurred and her knees felt weak. Fear. The faces of the dozens of people blurred together, drowning her. Why did there have to be so many of them? She could face down monstrous hydras, cyclopes, gorgons, even sirens without the slightest fear, but somehow a large crowd of people was enough to make her break out into a cold sweat. But it wasn't the horde that was terrifying her at the moment, though they certainly weren't helping any. The only face that filled her vision at the moment was Aviva's. Oh, gods. Not her. "What the fuck did we bump into?" Damien yells. The entire room rattles. Window frame movement puts too much stress on the glasses. The lights going on and off as if some weirdo is busy toying with them, the light fixture's wires become exposed, and vases crash on the ground from top cupboards followed by books and magazines. Her eyes showed nothing but pure white as she tossed and turned vigorously on the small hospital bed, blinking multiple times. "DO NOT TOUCH HIM!" She yells. This fuels the shaking edifice more. "Do something!" I scream at the doctor who is standing there flummoxed just as we are. Out of nowhere, a bright light engulfs her. "What the actual fuck?" goes the doctor dropping the clipboard in his hands. The ECG machine goes into a wild paced beeping. "DON'T! "She shouts once more sitting up, blasting us away. My back connects with a hard object behind me. The sound of shattering glasses, exploding machines and light bulbs follow .A sharp high pitch sound ringing inside my ears caused by the blast. . I feel myself getting weak as my back aches from being hit. By the time am conscious enough the sound of buzzing sockets as a result of short out wires that produce bright sparks in the now dark room are all I see and hear for a moment, lights flickering simultaneously. Later, I hear someone giving orders from outside our room accompanied by indistinct voices from agitated people being guided out of the building. My eyes scan the room searching for Damien. I heave a sigh of relief to see him laying on the ground his head leaning lazily on the door. A figure moves adjacent from me. The doctor takes closer yet cautious steps towards the girl still seated on the bed her eyes shut. "What in the world of the X-Men are you?"
Broken Beyond Repair
I squeezed my way through the abundant number of people, trying to get to the exit. I bumped into a lot of shoulders, until I found an opening. As soon as the door was in my sight, I heard Jessie calling out my name. Her voice grabbed my attention, and I briskly turned around. I knocked right into a tall figure, causing me to lose my balance and fall. All the people dancing blocked my vision so I couldn't grab onto anything to prevent myself from falling. My arms met the hardwood floor as I tried to catch myself, sending a shock of pain through my arms. "Forgive me ma'am." Someone said while extending an arm down to me. "It's fine.
