If there's one thing that Will never expected to happen, a half goat man saving him and his mama from a bunch of angry bird things was definitely on the top of that list.

He blinks, chewing on the straw of his juice box, bright blue eyes flicking between the goat man (Maron or something, he doesn't really remember at this point) and his mama.
