You know that song, the one that goes. I can't love you more than my hometown? Yes, that one, that song was written about me. I was Morgan Wallen's high school sweetheart, and losing him was the worst thing that I've ever dealt with. We wanted different things, and he knows he's locked in that small town in Tennessee, whereas I wanted to move to Australia and follow my dreams. What happened later on in my life forced our paths to connect once more. This time, neither one of us was going to let each other leave. This is the story where I brought a boy out of his small town and how I made him love me more than our hometown.

"Do you know how hard it is for me knowing that you're with someone else?" Tyler asked, staring at me intensely. "You think this is easy for me?" I asked, trying to hold back my tears. "I didn't say it was -" he began, but I cut him off. "It's not. I have to go around hating myself. Hating myself for thinking about you. Hating myself for wanting you. I just want to stop feeling this way." I stepped closer to him as my voice shook with every word. "I want to forget about you, but I just--." The rest of my sentence was cut short as Tyler took the final step, closing the gap between us and brought his lips to mine. ~~~~~~~~ Tyler is back from college to find out that the girl who once held his heart has a new boyfriend. They haven't been together for four years now, so why can't he convince himself that he's over her? Everything was going great, and she thought she was finally beginning to be happy again, but all that changed when Tyler moved back home. Her feelings that she thought she had buried resurfaced.
