If someone makes a huge mistake, should that person have to pay for it everyday for the rest of their lives?

Dante Black had once thought so himself. Born to Monica Marietta Black they lived a relatively peaceful life.

Monica working tirelessly as a damn good mechanic to keep the lights on. In order to help out as best he could, Dante did all of the cooking and cleaning, evening learning everything his mother knew about mechanics.

Sure they struggled, but at least they had each other. That is until one day Dante discovered that she had Terminal Cancer. Inoperable tumors that surrounded her frontal lobe and liver.

Unwilling to let the only person he ever loved die, he turned to the first and only one who answered his prayers. A Devil who went by the name of Mephistopheles.

In exchange for his eternal soul his mother would have her health back. But then Dante was double crossed, losing his mother to a car accident which Mephistopheles had caused while Dante was in the front seat.

Lost in rage and without a soul, he had been bonded to a hellish spirit that thirsted for the blood of the wicked. And so Dante had taken to the streets as a demonic vigilante known as The Ghost Rider.
