Hall The Lucky

Hall the Lucky, the eleventh child and seventh son of the moderately
successful Toft Merchant Family, thinks he knows what he wants, and
that's to join the Adventurer's Guild. All he has to do to become a
member is retrieve a magical key from a lost temple guarded by an
undead knight.

Lucky for Hall, the undead knight is actually quite helpful in pointing
out just how cursed the gem in Hall's earring is. Suddenly finding
himself on a real adventure, Hall is now the target of a crazed
necromancer hunting for his cursed gem which she needs for her plot
to challenge the Deities.

This journey brings him together with an eclectic crew including an
honorable undead knight, an adorable Gobby-Lin spy, a statuesque
elven Light Mage, and the Kingdom's mysterious and aloof pint-sized
Arcane Researcher. Battling not only their personal convictions, but
also an undead horde that is hot on their trail, they try to stay one
step ahead to keep the gem out of the wrong hands.
