After being trapped in Dipper's mind, Bill realizes that Pinetree's family had set up the perfect chess board for him, all he had to do was move a few pieces. At some point that neither Bill nor Dipper could pinpoint, the two become toxically dependent and somewhat obsessed with each other. Bill thrived on the dependency of Pinetree, and Dipper loved the attention he got from him. In the end, things start to drastically shift in the teen's mind and his new best friend is there to guide him.
Mabel isn't the best sister, but she tries. It's not like Dipper's the best brother either. They both have messed up ways of dealing with their trauma, but she doesn't realize just HOW messed up her brother has become.

Unable to decide if he wants wants to kill Dipper (For reasons explained way later) or if he wants to have Dipper, body and soul ;) In this particular story I've changed up the story a little bit. Mabel, and Dipper have not actually met Bill... In this lifetime anyway. They still solved mysteries when they were younger as Mabel refers to their old "Mystery Twins" Nickname once.
