Harper's world has turned upside down, when her parents go on a trip to Europe, and their plane crashes. Leaving Harper, and Colette stuck with their weird Uncle Ben, and moving from big city  California to small town city in Upper Peninsula Michigan. Stuck in a boarding school, that their Uncle and Aunt run, in butt nowhere. Their Uncle and Aunt, aren't the only thing weird about the boarding school, but so are the people. One of them, being a very handsome, and strong headed guy, named Rhodes. Rhodes seems to know more than he is leading on.

Is Harper going to be able to push through her last couple years of high school, or are the things around her going to change her for the good or bad. Little does Harper know that the plane accident of her parents was just the beginning.
