Odessa had always been loved. Adored and protected by anyone around her, no one could hurt her. Not physically or mentally until the passing of her parents.

Odessa became the newest member of the Gilbert family when she was six years old, the sister to her best friend Jeremy Gilbert and the once loveable Elena Gilbert. Though, going through the mourning process and trying to adapt to life without her parents caused Miranda and Greyson Gilbert's attention to fix on the girl and not their own two children, not at much as Elena would have liked, as much as she was used too.
